rAV1ator was a Linux GUI by Gianni Rosato and Trix, a sister project of Aviator. Where Aviator encodes with SVT-AV1, rAV1ator used Av1an with the rav1e encoder and Opus audio, for enthusiasts who specifically wanted that combination. It was distributed as a Flatpak from the developer’s own repository rather than Flathub.

Today, use Aviator for a simple AV1 GUI, or Av1an directly (-e rav1e) if you want rav1e with scene-based parallel encoding.
