Media encoding, muxing, analysis toolkit for Windows
Nmkoder by N00MKRAD is a portable Windows GUI that bundles FFmpeg, ffprobe and Av1an for encoding, remuxing and simple analysis. Most people used it as a point-and-click front end for Av1an.
Install and use
Section titled “Install and use”Download the 7z archive from the releases page, extract it anywhere and run the executable. It needs 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and .NET Framework 4.7.2.
Drag files onto the window, then work through the tabs:
- File List and Track List: choose inputs and which tracks to keep, in what order, with language and title.
- Quick Convert: encode or copy each stream type with FFmpeg, with resizing, cropping and trimming.
- AV1AN: set up an Av1an encode (encoder, workers, quality).
- Utilities: bitrate plots, quality metrics, concatenation and copying colour/HDR metadata between files.
Press Start when the job is configured.
